SEAC Questionnaire
Intro
The European Chemical Agency (ECHA) is investigating a possible ban on placing polymeric infill onto the market. They deem a ban necessary to prevent environmental pollution from microplastics.
While ECHA’s Risk Assessment Committee (RAC) has finalised its opinion, the Socio-Economic Analysis Committee (SEAC) is still undecisive.
SEAC will use the current public consultation window to find answers to a few short questions. This public consultation window will close on 1 September.
As ESTC will submit a response on behalf of the industry, we hereby invite you to submit your answers to these questions. This will allow ESTC drafting a comprehensive response that will allow SEAC to take an informed decision.
