Realturf, a leader in the manufacture of artificial turf, continues to make a difference in the sports field by consolidating strategic agreements with the football federations of five autonomous communities: the Community of Madrid, the Community of Valencia, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha and the Region of Murcia. These alliances reinforce Realturf’s commitment to the improvement of sports infrastructures, sustainability and the development of grassroots and professional football in the country.
A common goal: modernising sports facilities
The agreements signed with the federations aim to renovate and modernise the football facilities in each region, providing them with next-generation artificial turf. This type of surface, in addition to guaranteeing a safe and professional playing experience, reduces maintenance costs compared to natural grass and is in line with international standards such as those certified by FIFA.
In Castilla-La Mancha, the collaboration with the Castilla-La Mancha Football Federation (FFCM) will enable the transformation of dozens of pitches throughout the region, benefiting local clubs and sports associations. In Extremadura, the agreement with the Extremadura Football Federation (FEXF) is an important step towards bringing quality surfaces to the whole region. In the Valencian Community and Madrid, where Realturf has been collaborating with their federations for years, improvements have been implemented in pitches such as Oliva and Cotorruelo, benchmarks in sustainability.
Furthermore, in the Region of Murcia, the recent alliance with the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia (FFRM) seeks to go beyond the sporting sphere, promoting social and sustainable values thanks to its corporate social responsibility plan.
Innovation and sustainability: Realturf’s key pillars
One of the aspects that sets Realturf apart is its strong commitment to the environment. The agreements include the implementation of advanced technologies, such as 4th generation artificial turf that does not require infill, or sustainable materials such as cork, which are already used in some emblematic pitches. These solutions not only improve the players’ experience, but also reduce the environmental impact, a priority objective for the company.
‘We want every sports facility not only to meet the highest international standards, but also to be an example of sustainability for future generations,’ says Rubén Martín, Realturf’s technical advisor.
Direct impact on grassroots and professional sport
With these collaborations, Realturf positions itself as a key ally to the development of professional and amateur football. Players, from the lower categories to the highest levels, will be able to train and compete in quality facilities that promote their development. In addition, the federations will have the technical support of Realturf, ensuring the maintenance and optimal performance of the fields in the long term.
The impact of these agreements is not limited to the sporting world. They also look to encourage participation in sport, attract new talent and have a positive impact on local communities.
A bright future for Spanish football
Realturf, as the first Spanish FIFA licensee in artificial turf, continues to set benchmarks in national sport. With these collaborations, the company reaffirms its commitment to transforming sports infrastructures in Spain, focusing on quality, innovation and sustainability.
The Community of Madrid, the Community of Valencia, Extremadura, Castilla-La Mancha and the Region of Murcia have become, thanks to these agreements, benchmarks in the development of modern and environmentally responsible sports facilities. Realturf and the football federations have shown that, working together, a promising future for sport in our country can be guaranteed.
