Synthetic turf is also in Polish football on the forefront. At least 42 installations of synthetic turf do exist today in Poland (FIFA recommended pitches).
One example is the Ptak Football Centre, where a synthetic pitch has been installed in 2008. This Football Centre is specifically designed for the National team’s pre-match training camps and other training development programs. The Facilities Manager highlights in particular the weather resistance of the new pitch as well as the opportunity for athletes to train and play at the Centre all year round.
Further synthetic pitches have been installed in Bielsko, Wolomin and in Wroclaw just to name a few.
